Wardrobe Sliding Door Kits: Three Systems, Every Size
Fitted wardrobes live or die by their doors. Our wardrobe sliding door kits cover three systems — E-Slide, W-Slide and the soft-close PS-Slide — in 2, 3 and 4 door configurations with tracks from 1200mm to 3000mm, supplying everything except the door panels themselves.
Pick Your System
E-Slide is the straightforward classic: bottom rolling gear, parallel tracks, doors overlap and glide. W-Slide adds a bifold action — doors fold as they slide, opening more of the wardrobe at once, which earns its keep in tight bedrooms where a full slide-past is awkward. PS-Slide is the premium system with both-way soft close: doors settle closed gently from either direction, which matters for shared bedrooms and anyone tired of door slam.
Sizing It Right
Track length first: match 1200mm, 1500mm, 1800mm, 2400mm or 3000mm to your opening (tracks trim down cleanly if you're between sizes). Door count second: keep each door under roughly a metre wide for comfortable handling — a 2400mm opening suits 3 doors better than 2 oversized ones. Weight last: you supply the panels, so check your chosen material against the kit's per-door rating, especially for mirror doors which weigh substantially more than MDF.
Doors, Handles and Finishing
Kits pair with 2.5-metre aluminium profile handles — flush vertical grips that let doors pass each other, available in finishes including grey and anthracite — plus brush strips (10m/15m) to seal door edges and soften door-to-door contact. Hinged wardrobes instead? Protruding hardware lives at wardrobe door handles.
Related Systems
The full sliding family is organised at sliding door kits, with the engineering explained at sliding door systems. For full-width access without overlap, consider bifold door kits; for top hung internal doors, top hung kits.
Ordering
Free UK delivery including 3m tracks, fast dispatch, and consistent stock across reorders — useful when phase two of the bedroom build follows six months after phase one. Measure the opening, settle door count, check panel weight, and the right kit is a single order.
